Danielle Barkley

Danielle Barkley is a second-year doctoral student at McGill University. Her research interests concentrate on nineteenth-century fiction, particularly transitions between the Romantic and Victorian periods. She is currently focusing on the Silver Fork School of fashionable novels in the 1820s and 1830s, investigating the connections between these texts and political changes, consumerism, and the rise of celebrity culture.
